Supplies

Here is where you'll find a list of all the supplies I use most often:

Knitting

Boye NeedleMaster 40 Piece Interchangeable Aluminum Knitting Set

I use this set whether I'm knitting flat or in the round - it has all of the sizes I need on a regular basis, and multiple lengths of cords so I can get the combination I need for any project. And, everything I need is in one place, and I don't have to go looking for needles in all my knitting boxes. Most people tend to avoid buying a set like this, because they think it is an expensive investment, and, generally, it is at almost $90. However, if you buy it from Amazon, you'll find it at a much more reasonable price of $35, and for that cost, it's a definite must for any avid knitter.

Clover Takumi Bamboo Premium Double Point Knitting Needles

I generally avoid using DPNs when I can, but when I absolutely must use them, I prefer to use bamboo needles. They have a nice grip to them that feels good in my hands, and it holds onto the yarn. If you prefer to use metal or plastic needles, that works just fine too, it really all depends on personal preference. You can find these needles in US Size 0-9 on Amazon, or at your local knitting specialty shop.

Clover Chibi with Jumbo Darning Needles

I always keep these in my kit for any project, to weave in the ends. I like these because they have a cute little container, and they're cheap enough that when I inevitably lose them, I can buy new ones guilt-free. You can find these on Amazon, or at any craft store or knitting specialty store.

Clover Cable Stitch Holders

These are another good basic to have in your kit if you want to incorporate cables into your knitting designs. These are available at Amazon or at your local knitting specialty shop or craft store.

Clover Triangle Stitch Markers

It really doesn't matter what brand of stitch markers you use, just so long as you are aware that they come in different sizes, and you get the right size for your project.  Also, never spend too much money on them, because they will get lost. 100%. These are unique because of their shape, and you can find them at Amazon or at any knitting specialty shop or craft store.

 Paper Crafts

Silhouette Cameo

This is my newest fun tool, and can be used for all kinds of paper cutting, vinyl cutting, stencil cutting, fabric cutting, and more. I prefer it to the Cricut cutters because of the quality, as well as the fact that Cricut only allows you to buy designs in a cartridge, which run about $50 each, whereas the Silhouette store makes designs available individually for around $.99 each. Then, you are only paying for the designs you want, and you can make a better collection. The starter kit is available at Amazon.

Project Life

Black Signature Binder

Though Becky Higgins has a wide variety of colors of binders available, I like the idea of a sleek, black binder, especially since I plan to continue Project Life for many years, and display all my completed binders on a bookshelf. This binder is available at Amazon.

Project Life Core Kit: Cobalt Edition

Even though I don't use these cards on every page like some do, I like to have a base supply of filler cards and journaling cards to choose from. The core kit is available in a variety of colors, and the Cobalt Edition is available at Amazon.

Smash Stick: Black

I like this pen for journaling, but what makes it special is that it has a glue stick on the other end, which is convenient to use while scrapbooking. The Smash Stick comes in a variety of colors, and is available at Michaels, Target, and Amazon.

Stay tuned, this list is ever-growing!
